The Salvation Army’s Christmas Angel program has put new clothes and toys under the tree for millions of children who often go without Christmas gifts. In 2023, we had the privilege of assisting The Salvation Army with 400 forgotten Christmas Angels, children whose Christmas Angel gift tags remain unreturned.
This holiday season we are taking the initiative to ensure no child is left behind by starting the season strong. Our enterprise has adopted nearly 3000 Christmas Angels to gift this year with help from our industry partners. Throughout November and December, we dedicated time to obtaining over 7100 gifts, sorting all the items, and packaging them to send to The Salvation Army.
“We are stewards of the state of Arizona to help ensure that all kids have opportunities like we did,” says Greg Ayres, President & Chief Operating Officer of Nox Group.
Our employees have taken periodic time out of their day to assist with organizing all toy shipments and creating gift bags based on the Angels’ wishlist. We have teammates who will also be using their Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to go to The Salvation Army to distribute gifts or go Red-Kettle bell ringing.
Being a part of an industry built on relationships, we’d love to continue to come together with other construction leaders to partner in increasing our impact across the valley. We deeply appreciate the following sponsors for participating in a cause that means so much to us:
- PCL Construction
- Professional Piping Systems
- Felix Construction
- FPS Civil
- United Rentals
- Skanska
- Nexus Alarm & Suppression
