Harlingen sits at the heart of the Rio Grande Valley, the four-county stretch of far South Texas along the Gulf Coast and the Mexican border. South Padre Island’s Gulf beaches are about 45 minutes east, and Brownsville and McAllen are also in the region. The jobsite sits a few miles east of Harlingen near the small town of Rio Hondo and the Arroyo Colorado waterway. Equipped with various housing options, easy airport access, and a full metro’s worth of shopping and healthcare, this is a great location for someone looking to grow their career.
Housing options fall into a few zones around the jobsite: the immediate Rio Hondo area (closest), the city of Harlingen (bulk of hotels and apartments), and the Arroyo City / Laguna Madre stretch to the east (fishing-oriented RV parks). Distances are measured from the jobsite. ->

HARLINGEN — ABOUT 15 MINUTES FROM THE JOBSITE
If you’re bringing your own RV or plan to purchase one, the valley is RV country with dozens of parks, several within a few miles of the jobsite. Rates and full-hookup availability vary, so confirm availability early, as parks fill up October–March.
